LEGO Racers: The Video Game is a cancelled racing video game developed by Firebrand Games. Originally planned for release in 2009, the Nintendo DS version was advertised on LEGO set packaging that year alongside LEGO Castle: The Video Game and LEGO Space: The Video Game.[1]

In July 2013 Donald Robertson, an artist who had worked at Firebrand Games, posted concept art he had created for the game. Robertson claimed that the game was developed for Nintendo DS; however, he also included screenshots that appeared to be from a previously-unknown Wii version of the game.[2][3][note 1]

Notes

  1. The Nintendo DS has a resolution of 256 × 192 pixels for each of its screens; Robertson's screenshots are 640 × 456, which is one of the standard resolutions used by Wii games.[3]
