The screenshot shows the following differences from the final version of the game:
* The interface on the bottom of the screen is missing, replaced with a row of coloured boxes.
* The background for Magma Moon Marathon is notably different, with a red sky filled with clouds of volcanic smoke, extra volcanoes, and a slightly different planet placement.
* The ground to either side of the track is red and dark red color, while in the final version's Magma Moon Marathon it is dark blue and purple.
* No scenery is visible on either side of the track.

The screenshot shows the following differences from the final version of the game:
