LEGO Post (stylised as LEGO-POST) was a German LEGO magazine launched in September 1959.[1]
History
In 1956 LEGO Spielwaren GmbH was establisbed in Hohenwestedt, West Germany. It was the first LEGO company established outside of Denmark.[2] Three years later the German office created a newsletter to act as a link between the LEGO Company and German LEGO fans. The eight-page publication was titled Lego-Post. It was first published in September 1959 and only lasted through 1960.[1]
Each issue was written and edited by Helmut Bittner and illustrated by Heinz-Georg Hornig. Page 7 included a comic by Bittner and Hornig, "Die Erlebnisse der LEGO-Kinder" (The Experiences of the LEGO Children).
