This is a tracking category. It is used to build and maintain a list or lists of pages—primarily for the sake of the lists themselves and their use in article and category maintenance. For an article to be categorized in a subcategory of this category, the value assigned to |language= must have a MediaWiki-supported language tag or the language name associated with those tags; multiple tags or names are supported and article may appear in multiple subcategories (list of supported language tags and names).

Articles in these categories should only be added with Module:Citation/CS1, never explicitly.
