This template automatically adds files to Category:GFDL files. As is the case on Wikipedia, new files should not be given this license; GFDL was originally designed for software manuals and is not good for use with media. This license should only be used on uploads of media already licensed under GFDL, or screenshots of works with content licensed under GFDL.
Usage

This template is intended to be used in the File namespace. It should be placed in the "Licensing" section of a file's page, or alternatively in the "Permission" parameter of the {{Information}} template.
