This template automatically adds files to Category:Non-free .

Usage

This template accepts the platform(s) as parameters to better categorize the tagged image. Up to 9 parameters can be entered,

{{Non-free video game screenshot|Windows|Macintosh|Linux}}

or

{{Non-free video game screenshot|Windows}}

or just

{{Non-free video game screenshot}}

if the platform is unknown. (For the platform names you can use, see the subcategories of Category:Non-free screenshots of video games.)

If arcade or browser are used as a parameter, it must be in the first position, e.g.

{{Non-free video game screenshot|arcade|Dreamcast}}

or

{{Non-free video game screenshot|browser|Linux}}

Some categories have multiple parameters that will give the same result; eg. Windows or Microsoft Windows both give Category:Non-free screenshots of Windows games. For a list of these see Template:Non-free video game screenshot/platform.

This template is intended to be used in the File namespace. It should be placed in the "Licensing" section of a file's page, or alternatively in the "Permission" parameter of the {{Information}} template.
