What's the ideas on capitalization for stuff?

I'm guessing we're going with writing Lego in all caps, but what about other stuff Lego usually writes in all caps but most people don't? System, Technic, Legoland, Bionicle, etc.

Or like how in Rock Raiders most stuff is capitalized, like Energy Crystal, Hard Rock, Slimy Slug, etc. I would just write it all in lowercase besides vehicle and building names but idk.

System Technic Bionicle etc is all fine. Not sure for legoland

I guess all capping legoland makes sense because normal caps would look inconsistent and LEGOland looks bad

Good question - it might end up being a case by case basis thing, but I’d say if it’s referring to something specific from a gameplay perspective, it should probably be capitalized.

“The Granite Grinder has the ability to dig through Hard Rock” is functionally different than “The Granite Grinder has the ability to dig through hard rock”, I think.

"Legoland" is fine, that's what Wikipedia uses too 😄

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legoland

In general "Lego" is fine when referring to their bricks and stuff I think, but when referring to their company on the wiki we should try to use The Lego Group (or "the Lego Group", but I like capitalizing the T for some reason)

Wait so not in all caps? I just assumed we were doing that since the LRR page you made and even the name of the wiki do that

I'd prefer LEGO, LEGO is the only correct thing when referring to the brand or the company, but I use "Lego" in everyday talk

But "Legoland" kinda solves the capitalization issue, LEGOland and LEGOLAND both eh... well LEGOLAND looks fine tbh, but idk if that's as necessary

LEGOland shouldn't be used tho imo
