Research Realm:Scans
This page is a reference for which magazines have been scanned and which haven't. Please scan the missing ones! Innovations, Brick Kicks, and Adventures are especially sad! Maybe catalogues should be added or get their own page as well? Comics too.
Italic titles for issues are when I can't find exactly what the issue was called, usually if there's just no images of it online at all.
Bricks 'n Pieces (1974–2000)
Bricks 'n Pieces is an English-language magazine published in the United Kingdom by LEGO UK Ltd. It was originally launched under the name Bricks and Pieces as a newsletter in 1974, which is only known to have published four issues. It relaunched properly in 1979 as an 4-page magazine published 3 times a year. Its size was increased to 8 pages in Summer 1981, then to 12 pages in Spring 1983. Autumn 1983 saw the return of a numbering system, labeling the 1983 issues as "Volume 1", implying the 12-page version was another relaunch; the numbering was dropped again in 1986 however. 1994 saw a change in the magazine's style, moving away from community news and events and towards advertising new products; it also marked the end of the letters from LEGO UK president Clive Nichols. In 1995 the magazine changed to four issues a year, then five i 1997. In March 1998 the magazine became associated with LEGO World Club. Its name was altered to Bricks 'n' Pieces in January 1999. In March 2000 it merged with LEGO World Club Magazine, though its content remained unique from the other global versions of World Club and more similar to LEGO Mania until all LEGO magazines were merged in 2002.
Many issues are scanned, though some from the 1990s remain missing. Most 70s and 80s issues have been scanned by Brickset and Miniland Online. Brickset's scans are high-quality and complete through 1987, minus the 1977 Technic issue. Miniland's copies are spottier and use lower-quality scans, though they continue through 1999.
(I don't know why issues 51 and 52 don't have publication dates printed on them. Miniland claims issue 51 is "Begin 1996" but Bricklink says it's the third of four 1995 issues.)

LEGO Technic Club (1994–2000)
LEGO Technic Club was a sister publication to Bricks 'n Pieces that focused on Technic products. It ran from 1994 to 2000. It was originally named Techtorque, renamed to just LEGO Technic Club by 1996. By 1999 it had renamed to LEGO Technic Magazine at some point. Most of its issues are currently missing. The names below for missing issues are taken from Bricklink and may not be accurate (eg. May/June 1998 could really be named May 1998 or June 1998, November/December 1998 could be named Christmas 1998, etc).
Unfortunately the early Techtorque issues are so obscure they are not documented anywhere besides a few photographs; I only realized they existed because they were mentioned here. May 1996 is the earliest known issue for now.

De LEGO Krant (1976–1993)
De LEGO Krant is an Dutch newspaper. 58 Issues are known to have been published from 1976 to 1993. Miniland Online has scanned them all, though some early ones only have low-quality scans available. Also the issues have "free edition" (gratis editie) stamped on them which makes me wonder if there was a premium version, though then again most Lego magazines have been free so probably not. It is currently unknown what was published in the Netherlands after issue 58.

Innovations (1978–1994)
Innovations is an English and French newsletter/magazine published in Canada by LEGO Canada Inc. It was originally a newsletter called Design News (English)/Innovations (French) published four times a year starting in 1978, then it became a magazine in 1990 titled simply Innovations (or LEGO Club Innovations) published three times a year. It was replaced by LEGO Mania Magazine in 1995. Its early newsletter days are so poorly-documented even Bricklink doesn't list all issues; the following table is approximated and may not reflect the actual issue count.

LEGO Mania Magazine (1994–2002)
LEGO Mania Magazine is an English-language magazine published in the United States by LEGO Systems, Inc. Its first issue released in Winter 1994, replacing Brick Kicks. Its second issue released in January 1995, and from that point forward it was published six times a year, every two months. It had a Canadian English/French version published by LEGO Canada, which replaces Innovations in January 1995. Its final issue was in March 2002: in May 2002 it merged with LEGO World Club to form LEGO Magazine. For a long time it seemed to be the only Lego magazine people online cared about; even to this day it's one of the few to be almost entirely scanned, and the versions of stories and characters presented in it are treated as the "true" ones.
Two major scans exist of the US version, by Miniland Online and BioMedia Project/Mask of Destiny. The BMP/MoD scans are higher-quality, though Miniland has a few pages and issues missing from earlier years.
The Canadian version is unfortunately largely missing, even Bricklink doesn't list any issues of it. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be much interest in archiving it since it's seen as mostly just the US version with some English text replaced with French. This isn't entirely true though; the January 95 issue for instance has some different text for the Aquazone lore despite being half the length, in particular it calls the crystals they collect Hydrolator crystals while the American version doesn't. I have a few unscanned issues but I have no idea how many there were in total. It probably has the same number of issues as US, minus Winter 1994.

Klick / LEGO World Club (1994?–2002)
It started off in France? as Klick, then had separate German publications in Switzerland and Austria, then a single German publication in Germany Switzerland and Austria as World Club. Other versions were published in other countries in Europe, Asia, and Australia. A Hong Kong version is known from a couple partially-scanned issues, a UK version replaced Bricks n' Pieces in 2000, and an Australian version was published from 1998 to 2002. In 2002 World Club and LEGO Mania merged into LEGO Club Magazine.
Currently one UK issue and a number of German issues are scanned, though many of the German issues are missing numerous pages. Two Hong Kong issues are partially scanned, about half their pages each. All of the Australian issues are scanned, however, aside from being low-res, for some reason those scans blur or remove all of the user submission stuff like custom builds or the names of contest winners.
list coming soon!
LEGO Adventures! (1999–2002)
LEGO Adventures! was a unique magazine published by Egmont Fleetway monthly.
After some issues were scanned around 2013, no more were for a long time, and people had to depend on translations of the Russian version. This has gotta be fixed.

Translations
There was also a Russian version, LEGO Самоделки (LEGO Homemade), that seems to be fully scanned, though Emily's site claims there were two different Russian versions; if true the second version is currently unknown. There's also a Hungarian version, LEGO Kalandok!, that is unscanned and only known from two issues from 2000 with pictures on Brickshelf. Other translations may exist. The Toys R Us version mentioned above may be from the US?

Klodshans was an internal magazine published for employees of the LEGO Group. It started publication in 1973[1] and has been confirmed to be published up until 1999, with several issues published each year. There is currently incredibly little information about these, and they are rare finds. Several exist in private collections but the vast majority have not been scanned. The term LEGO Review also appears on a 1982 magazine, but it is unclear if LEGO Review is a separate magazine that just happened to be combined this time, or if every now and then a Klodshans is also a "LEGO Review".
As these were only available to employees, they are rare, exclusive, and essentially the "holy grails" of LEGO magazines to scan and archive, because they sometimes contain information and media of LEGO development and in-development products that the public has never seen before.

LEGO Magazine / LEGO Club (2002–2017)
The main global magazine. It was published in multiple countries and languages, ranging from 4 to 6 issues a year depending on the location. It had alternate versions including the premium Brickmaster, the Junior version, and a vague and usually-unlabelled "girls" version focusing more on Lego Friends and similar themes, plus comic books sometimes included (especially Bionicle). It had too many versions and issues to count right now, so I will later. It was replaced by LEGO Life in 2017, which at least has 9 versions on the Lego website dating to 2018, though there were 2017 issues in other languages too so who knows.
There's also a bunch of other single-theme-focused magazines these days, I can't keep track. We should probably make a separate subpage for this since there's so many.

Probably not really magazines so we should make a more general scan page and then split these into subpages maybe. Some guy on the internet archive scanned several 90s S@H issues. Actually maybe all of these should go on subpages, one for each publication? (not as replacements for proper articles for each, just so that the scan list isn't overwhelming)
