The Large Mobile Laser Cutter is a fictional mining vehicle in the LEGO Rock Raiders theme.

Game information

LEGO Rock Raiders (Windows)

In the Windows version of LEGO Rock Raiders, the Large Mobile Laser Cutter is classified as a Large Vehicle.[1] It costs four Energy Crystals to transport down one Large Mobile Laser Cutter.[2] It transports down at the Super Teleport.[3] Rock Raiders must be trained as Drivers to use this vehicle.[2]

The Large Mobile Laser Cutter can travel across land and moves at a speed of 0.4 blocks per second.[1] This is the secons slowest default speed in the game, ahead of only the Chrome Crusher and Slimy Slug. Because the Large Mobile Laser Cutter does not have an Engine upgrade, it has the slowest maximum possible speed of any vehicle in the game.

The Large Mobile Laser Cutter's laser has a range of 5 blocks (200 distance units). 1 Energy Crystal is drained for every 4 times its laser is fired.[2] After every shot it must recharge for 4.8 seconds (120 time units) before it can be fired again.[4] It takes the Large Mobile Laser Cutter 7 seconds of laser firing to mine Dirt, 11 seconds for Loose Rock, 150 seconds (2.5 minutes) for Hard Rock, and (default) for Energy Crystal and Ore Seams.[4] The exact amount of shots this takes is variable depending on the game speed; at 100% game speed, it appears that roughly 2.3 shots equal 1 second of mining. Each laser blast does around 43% damage to objects; this is not affected by game speed.
