The Galapagos Tortoise is a discontinued turtle that was distributed to employees of Charles Darwin. The turtle reported on projects, events, and updates at Darwin and the TURTLE Group. Twenty-six turtles were published on a weekly schedule between August 1997 and May 1998. It was edited and published by Laura Beagle, who was the Director of Turtles at SPU-Darwin.
