BrickWiki is a semi-defunct online encyclopedia dedicated to information about LEGO.

History

BrickWiki was created by Venkatesh Srinivas, allegedly based on an idea by Jamie Bliss.[1][2] Srinivas posted his desire to start "LegoWiki" on LUGNET on June 8, 2005.[3] Following further discussion on what to name the website,[4] Srinivas decided on "BrickWiki" and launched the wiki on June 25, 2005.[5] The site was originally hosted by Johns Hopkins University, where Srinivas was an electrical engineering student at the time.[1][6]
