Rolf H. Lagerson (also spelled Lagersson; 8 January 1925 – 9 January 2006)[1] was a Swedish artist and graphic designer.
Biography
Rolf Lagerson was born on 8 January 1925 in Malmö, Skåne. Lagerson originally studied to be an architect before switching to a career in graphic art. From 1946 to 1948 he studied at Anders Beckman's school of advertising art and the SGF school of typographical design in Stockholm. For the next six years he worked as various advertising agencies in Stockholm, as well as at Benton & Bowles in New York during one year. In 1954 he started working as a freelance artist.[2]
