History
In October 1997[1] Data Design Interactive began developing LEGO Rock Raiders, a video game based on the then-upcoming LEGO product line of the same name, after being approached by LEGO Media International. During the game's development, Artworld UK was set up as a sister company to Data Design, intended to serve as a dedicated graphics and animation team.[2]
Artworld Animators also created the FMV cutscenes for LEGO Chess based on scripts by David Upchurch. In this game they are credited as DDI instead of Artworld.[3]
