Guide:Setting up LEGO Loco: Difference between revisions

From Research Realm
Created the LEGO Loco guide, per Ringtail's request to keep them separate from the LEGO Loco page.

m Corrected the Troubleshooting message to include putting DDrawCompat into the Exe fiolder. Removed the bit about Adding DDrawCompat.ini file with custom parameters, as that seems to crash or mess with many players' games. Condensed "Game isn't launching" and "Graphical Glitches" into one section in Troubleshooting, because they are the exact same instructions.

  2. Install the game using le717's LOCO Alternate Installer.
  3. In the install folder (usually "C:\Program Files (x86)\LEGO Media\Constructive\LEGO LOCO\Exe"), right click "loco.exe".
  4. Click Properties, and in the Compatibility submenu, check the 'Run as Administrator' box.
  5. Check the Reduced Color Mode box, and set the game to either 8-bit or 16-bit color.
